Cleveland Cavs & Indiana Pacers Pre Season in Cincinnati!

CLEVELAND – The Cleveland Cavaliers today released their 2014 preseason schedule, which is highlighted by the NBA’s second game ever in South America. The Cavs will take on 2014 Eastern Conference Champion Miami Heat on Oct. 11 at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao will play an NBA game in front of his countrymen for the first time as part of this year’s NBA Global Games.

The Cavs will compete in two regional home contests in Ohio against a pair of Central Division opponents. The Indiana Pacers will arrive in Cincinnati for a matchup with the Cavs at the Cintas Center on Oct. 15. Cleveland will square off with the Chicago Bulls at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus on Oct. 20.

The seven-game slate also includes three games at Quicken Loans Arena where the team will host Head Coach David Blatt’s former club and Israeli-league power Maccabi Tel Aviv on Oct. 5, the Milwaukee Bucks on Oct. 14 and the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 17. In their preseason finale, the Cavaliers will travel to Memphis to face the Grizzlies on Oct. 22.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers announced Tuesday their seven-game NBA preseason schedule with three games set for Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Pacers will open the preseason in the Fieldhouse when they face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 7:00 p.m. Then, on Friday, the 10th, Orlando will visit for a 7:00 p.m. tip. The Pacers then go on the road for games at Dallas Oct. 12 and Cincinnati, at Cleveland, on Oct. 15. The final home preseason game will be Oct. 18 (7:00 p.m.) with a rematch against the Mavericks and the Pacers will wrap up with games at Minnesota, Oct. 21, and Charlotte, Oct. 23.

The Pacers will conduct Media Day Monday, Sept. 29, and open training camp on the 30th. The NBA regular season schedule will be announced at a later date.

On-sale information for preseason games will be announced at a later date, but fans can get information on all regular season ticket packages by going to Pacers.com/tickets or by calling (317) 917-2827 to speak to a ticket sales representative. Single game ticket sales information for all games will be announced at a later date.
